February 2025 General Body Meeting (1/21/2025)
- Meeting with Office of Sustainability
- Ev and Jackie met w Emily Irvine (Office of Sustainability in C’ville)
- Emily is going to send us her monthly report that she also sends to City Council
- Hoping to do some kind of “ambassador program” to connect UVA students with City
- Office of Sustainability also does workshops on sustainability in Cville that we would like to try to co-sponsor this spring

- Sustainability groups in Cville and UVA
- Uplift groups doing similar work (Sofia volunteered)
- Cville 100 Event Recap
- Climate/sustainability organizations in Charlottesville and at UVA met last Thursday and discussed our various missions
- Going to forward their deets our to our listserv, will also be a good starting point for our website page on other orgs
- Potential outreach to: Profit with Purpose and Citizens Climate Lobby

January 2025 General Body Meeting (1/24/2025)
- EEEP x ODC hike next Friday (1/31) at 3:30 in front of Slaughter rec center
- Outreach to various major/minor email lists
- Specifically: Systems engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, global sustainability, public policy, and ETP
- Website expansion to include:
- Environmental Policy 101 (i.e. national-scale basics)
- Things were doing (place for meeting times, future events, etc.)
- Tabling on the lawn (maybe?)

- Outreach:
- Flyers, etc for October meeting

- Discussed possibility of adding committee for reaching out to Sustainability Office at UVA and in Charlottesville to see if we can sit in on meetings or if there’s a way for us to be deeper in the know
- Discussed establishing committee for reaching out to other groups on grounds to see if they have any connections, insight, etc. on environmental policy things
